I've been looking at everyone else's t-shirt quilts and thinking about posting a picture of the one my Mom made for me many years ago and am finally getting around to it.

She collected up t-shirts during my growing up years and made this.  I LOVE it and the quality is so excellent.  It has been used and used and washed and washed and yet it still looks fantastic.

As you can see in the pictures, for many of them she used the whole front rather than cutting them apart - I like this and am planning to do the same with t-shirts I have been collecting of my sons.  She tied it together rather than quilting it.

Here's a close up of the center of the quilt:

This is one of the coolest things I have ever seen!  Kudos to your Mom for making something so awesome for you.  I will definitely keep this in mind when I have kids of my own.

What a novel idea!  Wow, I really like that.  Too bad I've already cut up my T-shirts.
Great job to your Mom!

I really like that a lot. I thought my tshirt quilt I made forever ago was nice, yours is far better! I love how your mom used the whole front of the tshirt!

That's a fantastic t-shirt quilt!  I love how she kept the shirts intact.
