Beautiful. I too think I dig the cotton version more. Maybe I just adore the color. Thanks for the pattern link. I love all the lace tops that keep showing up on here. Very pretty.

lovely.  great pattern and stitch detail!  I too think I prefer the cotton one, but Im pretty sure it's because you're modelling it and that gives it more shape and life.

I've been liking the one in cotton too - maybe it's just the solid color...  What yarn is that one?

Thank you sooo much for posting this finished project!  It is so beautiful and just the inspiration I've been needing.  I've been suffering from terrible knitter's block but I think your lovely HSLS has inspired me.  I think I'm going to do something sort of similar, in that the bottom part will be lace (maybe a simple herringbone rib lace) and the bodice stockinet.  Possibly mirrored on the sleeves?  Hmmm ... maybe a slightly bell-shaped sleeve.  Hmmmm ....

OOOHHHH!  I have a LOT of undyed laceweight cashmere that I need to use for myself rather than selling.  I've changed cashmere suppliers and have a bunch leftover from the old supplier that's slightly different in weight than the new stuff and so I've been using that as an excuse to HAVE to keep the older cashmere for myself  Wink  It will take forever to do the whole thing in laceweight, but I think maybe I will.

YEEHA!  Thank you so much for posting your lovely sweater!!  You may just have saved my marriage, as I have been becoming perpetually more difficult to live with since I have been suffering from this knitter's block.

All the best,
 Deb aka Fearless Fibers

Thi is gorgeous and I am totally going to make it! *Adds to summer knitting list*

Yay! Great job, I love the cotton too, probably because I am not a fan or variegated yarn, or of silk (why am I creeped out that it comes from worms Huh )

It's Linie 14 "Clip" from Online with 166m/100g. I'm not sure if it's widely available outside of Germany, but substituting is very easy for this pattern!

I DO like it better on you than I did just lying there.  You're so tiny that it would be tough for clothes NOT to look good though...  Great job and thanks for the pattern!   Grin
