So, I've decided to get a head start on my Renaissance Festival costumes this year (no more sewing at 2:00 am the night before), and I have two possible designs.  What do you guys think I should wear?

A generic peasant, with a basket, apron, and straw hat (not shown) or...

An English middle class woman.

I've already made the green dress, but now i need to figure out trim placement, how to close the front (spiral lacing or metal clasps), sleeve treatment, etc.

Oh, Kara.
