hi all!

I'm looking for all sorts of knitted bats. perhaps some bat intarsia or even things formed like a bat?
searching for all sorts? no, not really. anything but batman-like bats...
I'm looking for the darker side of knitting...  Grin

any ideas?

i don't think a stuffed bat would be all that difficult, either. well, the wings might be a little.

also, try doing a search on the boards. it came up with some interesting results:

unfortunately, there isn't much in the way of bats. but look up keywords like knitting and halloween in a search engine and you might find some stuff you like.

There's a bat lace pattern (a spider too) in Barbara Walkers 3rd treasury of knitting. I'm planning a lace bat scarf with it!

Ooh, do you know which page that is on? I have that book from the library at the moment and although I saw the spider chart I didn't see the bat one.
