Hi. I made this top by my own design.

Hope you like it.

Enjoy!
HettyYou will need:
200g/ 7 oz of red ribbon (I used Schachenmayr Bandolo 110m/50g with 7mm needles: 17sts x27rows [st st])
100g/ 3,5 oz of blue ribbon,
a thin elastic band
and
9mm/ uk 00 /us 13 dpns (approx. 60cm/24")
6mm/ uk 4 / us 10 dpns (approx. 40cm/15")
Gauge:
>[lower part]Red ribbon on 9mm/ uk 00 /us 13 needles: 13 sts x14 rows = 10cm² (4 inch x 4 inch)
>[upper part]the stripes on 6mm/ uk 4 / us 10 needles 14 sts x25 rows (4 inch x 4 inch)
The sweater is knitted in one piece from the bottom to the top. This pattern is for size 38/ size 8/ size S.
The lower part:
Use the 9mm/ uk 00 /us 13 dpns and cast on 150 sts with the red ribbon only. Join to round and knit in st st until you have reached 35cm/13,5". Now decrease 8 st equally
over one round.
The upper part: Switch to the 6mm/ uk 4 / us 10 dpns. From now on knit alternate 2 rounds of the red ribbon and 2 rounds of the blue one. Again knit even until the striped part measures 14cm/5,5". End with 2 rnds of one colour (I ended with blue).
Dividing for raglan shaping:
Knit one more round until 6 sts before ending of rnd. Cast off 12 sts , k59, cast off 12 stitches and k59. This marks the new end of the rnd.
Next round: Place marker and cast on 32 sts using the Backward Loop Cast-On, place marker, k59, place marker and cast on further 32 sts using the same method as before, place marker and k59.
In the next round you will change to the other colour and will have to join new yarn because the beginning changed.
182sts .
Decreases for raglan shaping:
Every odd (always the first round of a stripe ) round: K32 , k1, skpo, k53(49,45,..), k2tog, k1, k32 , k1, skpo, k53(49,45,..), k2tog, k1.
Every even round: skpo, k28(26, 24,..), k2tog, k1, skpo, k 51(47,43,..), k2tog, k1, skpo, k28, k2tog, k1, skpo, k51(47,43,..), k2tog, k1.
Knit these two rounds altogether 6 times. You should end up with a red stripe. 110sts. Cast off in red.
Modifying the sleeves:
Now the sleeves are too thin. We have to do some modifications!
Note: I bound off and decreased exactly at the end / beginning of the row, because later you will crochet the edge, so no decreases or big holes can be seen/appear.
Pick up 32 sts from the upper edge of one sleeve, between the raglanshapings (sketch). Purl one row in contrast colour at the wrong side of the work (I had to use blue.).
2. (even row) row: BO1, k28(26,24,..),k2tog.
3. (odd row) row: purl
Knit these 2 rows again and knit once more the even row.
7.row: BO1, p22(18,14 ), k2tog.
8.row: BO1, k20(16), k2tog.
9.row: Like the 7th row.
10.row: Like the 8th row.
11.row: Like the 7th row.
12.row: BO4, k10.
13.row: BO4, k6.
14.row: BO all sts.
At last crochet around the whole sleeve.
No, that's not the last to do. Sorry. Now you will need to pull a thin rubber band trough the line where you have changed the needle size.
And, of course, you have to weave in the loosely ends.
Tipp: I sewed the loose yarn, after I wove it, to the next stitch because it didn't work without and always slipped out.
Congrats, your ready! (Please post a pic

)
