Well yes it's been done a million times (and 999999 of them were better than this one) but I had these old jeans which were too big blah blah pretty fabric blah blah...



This is the back...The front's not great, I have to say!! Not horrendous but probably not "I'd wear this out" quality. But hey what can ye do.

i like this a lot more than the typical jeans-to-skirt thing! very very nice. love the fabric on top (im assuming its separate fabric and not detailed jeans). you should be proud!

Thanks everyone for your replies!!! Actually yeh the pattern is part of the jeans themselves - it's like a sort of velvety flock material. I think the skirt looks pretty good from the back but not sure about the front...and not sure if I'm advanced enough to fix it!!  Cheesy ah well Smiley Thanks again, Lxx

it looks really great, I love the fabric, I'd love to see the front too.... even though you don't like it, and hey maybe we could all give you tips to fix the problem with it?? come on, I haven't been here long but all these craftster ppl are soooo sweet encouraging and supportive.... (now that all of you are beaming over there don't let it get to your heads too much Wink j/k) I know they'll be there for you too!  Grin
