When you say you made the skirt a half circle instead of full circle, do you mean literally? as in, only using one of the 2 pattern pieces? or did you reduce the fullness another way? I really love your version and I like the less-full skirt. I'd really appreciate your reply!  Kiss

ahh im jealous. thats very pretty and professional looking.

i bought some dress patterns that arent quite as complicated as that. ive never used one before and if you say that was easy, perhaps it wont be as hard as i think it will be!  Cheesy

yeah i just used one of the pattern pieces i had to adjust the waist since it was only half so that made it shorter Smiley

i bought 4.5 meters but i have about a meter and a half left over

I'm going to embroider something on it to make it kind of sailorish i want to make a nave blue and white one with an anchor on it too

This would be so sweet with red hearts stenciled or embroidered around the hem. You look adorable in it. Terrific sewing..I too would be a bit nervous about trying it.
