I received from Radal16 on Friday and have been busy busy busy every since.

Here is what I recieved:

On the left is cashmere, the middle is alpaca and the right is silk noile.

I decided this was the perfect time to try my hand at carding, so I carded all three togeather (the silk lets off little wisps that drive cats nuts) and I've started spinning up a wonderfully extravagent yarn.

Here's the first batch of singles.

Wonderful!!!  I'm glad I sent you enough to spin.  How does the yarn feel?

I received today from miss_cute_boots.  She sent me some yellow, green and reddish/purple/brown roving.  The green is really nice, the colors are variegated and I have the perfect project in mind for it.

Even better, she sent me some lace weight, hand spun yarn!  Thanks so much, I can't wait to knit something out of it.

Thanks miss_cute_boots, great swap!
