I have a blocking question. Are you guys blocking individual miters or as groups of four?

Here is what I did...I blocked the inside edges of the individual squares (where you will seam your 4 block together) because it makes seaming so much easier.  Then I blocked the 4 blocks before seaming them together.
I also seamed the project as I went along...I could not face seaming all those blocks at once.

7 out of 64 squares (or 567 out of 5184 square inches), 576 out of 4608 stitches to be cast-on, 11599 out of 106048 stitches to be knit, 13 out of 32 different color combinations to be chosen, 8 out of 256 ends to be woven in, and 0 out of 432 inches to be sewn.

At my current rate, it should take me about three months to finish all the squares.  I don't want to think about how long all the seaming will take, never mind the border I'll have to knit around the outside edge...by the time I'm done, it'll be summer again Tongue

I'm using my disturbingly large collection of Red Heart Super Saver...skeins and skeins and skeins of it that have been lurking about for a few years now...
