i have also jumped on this KAL i started 2 nights ago and i am already on my fourth block, i am doing it the way that they have on the mason dixon blog to keep the number of ends under ontrol, i have to say i am loving it.

i have decided that it is for our bedroom at home so my color choice is monochromatic, well sorta, navy blue and white, alternating the blocks it is looking very nice Smiley

Maybe donate it to a local hospital or homeless shelter?  I'm sure they would appreciate it.   Grin

Might do this project.... it would make a good stash busting thing.  XD
nice idea but no... i honestly dont think it would be appreciated by a stranger... but i do plan to make baby hats to donate...
and my cousin is young and married so hopefully she'll be having a baby soon Smiley

That finishing idea is great! However, I kind of like the idea of sewing it all together.  Yeah, I know, I love pain. Wink  Even though my boy can't knit, he wants to help do something on the blanket, so he's going to help me sew it all up.  muhahaha!!  He's actually excited about it!

eek! double posting!  Everyone must be hard at work on their squares. Smiley

As requested, here are a picture of my two (unblocked) squares.  I'm going to be adding a darker brown and red eventually.  My boy says it looks like chocolate, and since the boy loves chocolate, I take it as a compliment.  Don't you love it when your sig other, friends, and/or family loves what you're knitting? Smiley
