So, if I want to make my own Iggy Pop version, how much do you think that I will have to decrease from the Joey Ramone version? And, could I use YOs, to simulate the various tracks in the arms? Just curious . . . and waiting very patiently!

uh, hello debbie stoller! i didn't know you were on craftster.

greenchick, maybe you could knit iggy pop out of some spandex blend yarn so that it would turn out all melty and weird, like the real iggster. (if you perfected the knitted melty-face, you could create a whole pantheon of aged rockstars. lou reed and all the rolling stones are fully melted by now. it's so weird that you can break your face with drugs!)

it's mullet-joan!

YES!

And Boo, I can't wait to see The Knitty Gritty Boyz (yes, the "z" is good for street cred).  I want a lunch box.

Despite the uber-coolness of mullet-Joan, I think I will knit Henry Rollins (first) since he's going to have tattoos.  This will give me some practice in the event that my ego escapes all boundaries placed on it and I knit a doll version of me one day, because, naturally, it will have to have tattoos on the arms.  Cheesy

So the book was originally going to be out this october, and now it's been pushed back.  Amazon shows a publishing date of nov. 4th, but they don't say anything about when the book will be avaliable to consumers or anything like that.  Does anyone know when this book is going to be out?

I preordered it at my local Borders and was beginning to wonder when it was going to get here.  I really, really want it.  It would be great if someone knew the answer to this........

I believe the ETA is November, giving 30 days of wiggle room in the event that unexpected complications arise.

I preordered from amazon and here is what my account says re: the order:

Shipping estimate:  November 5, 2004
Delivery estimate: November 8, 2004 - November 10, 2004

(god, i hope that's true!)

however, there is also a long disclaimer about what estimates mean.  please, oh, please let them be able to ship it on the 5th!

I preordered from amazon as well back in August and my delivery estimate was two weeks ago. Actually, I'm a little annoyed that no one has updated it  Angry... oh well.
