I'm bringing needlefelting, I think. And we'll be planning some Sunday Schools for 2007. AND discussing a potential alternative craft fair, if enough people are there.

DECEMBER NOTICE!!

Omaha's usual Church of Craft meeting on the second Saturday of every month is going to be CANCELLED this month.

We were just at Borders and judging from the number of holiday shoppers just -tonight-, there's going to be no room for us and our sprawling craftiliciousness tomorrow, for sure.

Stay tuned for a post-holiday craft exchange party to be held instead in January.

Bring something to work on, and if you don't have anything to work on (craft burnout) bring a notebook, because you're sure to be Inspired when you leave.

I'd like to talk this month about a) doing an alternative craft fair and b) the prospect of doing mini-class-type Sunday Schools at my house, focusing on a particular object or technique to play with and learn.  Something out of the box for you, to help with that whole inspiration thing.

We ended up getting snowed out in January, but we met in February at Whole Foods, where we'll probably end up meeting from now on.  Attendance was light, mostly because of the threat of More Weather.  (Why it decides to snow every second Saturday, I don't know. :>)

We'll be meeting again in March, and there will be Much Discussing Of The Potential Show, depending on how many are in attendance, and whether or not we are pelted with more snow.

I just now found this thread...   Do you still meet on second Saturdays?  How about location?  I live in Council Bluffs, and will soon be moving to David City, NE, but still would be interested in possibly joining.
