I absolutely LOVE your beads!! I have been wanting to start making my own glass beads for ages, but I'm afraid of burning down my apartment. (I think the management would frown on a blowtorch in the dining room...) Fantastic job!

I live in an apartment too.  If you ise one of the single fuel torches, you won't burn anything down, its pretty simple.  But they are really loud (which is so weird cause the double fuel torches which are very compllicated, are vrey quiet).  Anyway, I often think people assume I am making meth when I make beads.  Also, there is nothing in my lease about operating a torch... so I figure I am good.  Grin

I love your beads! They are so completely adorable. And I'm in love with the blue-lipped fish one, how cute!
Hmmm, I'd really like to give bead-making a try. I had no idea it was so.. uncomplicated. When I manage to finish some of the loads of other projects I have going on, I'll have to look into it. Thanks for the huge amount of information you offered, it makes working with glass seem much less scary and involved than I'd ever imagined.
