My good friend has a very bad case of mono, and the doctor says that he mustn't do anything strenuous or he could damage his spleen.  So I made him a little card to make him laugh (but hopefully not too much; we certainly wouldn't want to rupture any internal organs).

aaaannndd a close up...

The inside has a little note about spleens and their functions.

All in all, I think it turned out very well.  Now I must go study for finals... like I should have been doing...

I am just a worthless liar. I am just an imbecile. I will only complicate you. Trust in me and fall as well. I will find a center in you. I will chew it up and leave. I will work work to elevate you, just enough to bring you down.

This is great!  So much better to personalize your cards.  My father-in-law had hernia surgery last summer and I made him a get-well card that said, "I hope you are groin to feel better soon."

That is so awesome. I know I would have loved that when I had mono (ugh...a month and a half in bed, and 4 months of no sports...not fun when sports are a huge part of your life)
