These are just straight forward hair sticks. They are cheapy wooden chop sticks, covered in red clay, sanded and buffed with polyclay around the top and pearlex powder.

I started with red clay, covered the chopstick and smoothed it out.


I twisted a snake of black clay, wrapped it around the top, and rubbed "bronze" pearlex powder on with my finger.


I hope to get some pics up of some twisted "wooden" hairsticks soon!

They look great!   Aren't mica powders really fun to play with??  . . . I never get tired of seeing the effects they can create.
