Rory Gilmore wore this shirt in the episode "A Tisket a Tasket" in Season 2 of Gilmore Girls:
So I bought a pink long-sleeved T-shirt from Goodwill for $1.25 and decided to make my own. I think Rory's was actually a sweater, but I'm not a sweater person. Anyway, then I pinned the design in fuzzy yarn from Wal-Mart and whipstitched it, and here is the end result:
It's actually a slightly darker pink in real life. Oh, and I have a question . . . do you think the shirt will need to be hand-washed?

Awfully cute!

And yes, handwashing would be the way to go, both to save the fuzz, and keep the handstitching from coming undone.

I remember watching that episode ages ago and thinking: that's one cute pullover! Your version is very pretty and I would also recommend hand washing it Smiley
