I wanted to share some of my past projects.
This is my oldest dd's Halloween costume from last year.

And this is the witch costume I made for my middle dd

It was a windy day last Halloween when I took this pic--the skirts really are straight-lol!  This costume had 3 layers of skirts!!  Oh, and she and her older sister (the vampire in the earlier post) both won prizes for their costumes at the party they attended.  They were very excited!

My littlest one didn't want to be anything scary like her big sisters--she wanted to be "adorable".  So she picked out the princess pattern.
She is the red head in the picture wearing the pink crown
This pic was taken at her Preschool Halloween party last year.

This year orders are already in for a pirate costume for dd #2 (the witch) and a fairy for this dd.  Oldest dd is still undecided if 13 will be "too old" to dress up.

your girls are really lucky that their mom would make them a halloween costume instead of just going out and buying one. not only that but they look really good too!

Thank you both for your kind compliments.
I really enjoy sewing for my kids.  They get so excited; picking out the material, watching me sew it, and then modeling it around when it is done--so daddy can see and mommy can take pictures to email to grandpa & grandma Smiley
I love hearing how proud they are, too, telling their friends when they ask where they bought them, "Oh, NO, I didn't get this at a store, my mom made it for me"
