cool looks like everyone has received their goodies!

Nessa i'm sooooo glad you're happy with my package - and ummm yeah i'm not sure how you got it open w/o a serious knife
the fabric totally cracked me up - it was such a debate to get you some that was pretty vs the retro woodsy 5th-wheel camper curtains that those elk(?) are - i couldn't resist the bizaare-ness of them ... i'll blame it on alaska!
anyway i totally loved knitting the sweater up - i made the cuffs extra long so you can fold them up when you baby is little and down as s/he gets bigger

here is a close up of the buttons + stiches - i've really been in to the purl side out lately:

ooo its manos #113 wool for those of you wondering what type

Too late! Don't worry, it's edible: New York Cheesecake Caramels from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Warning: may have come into contact with nuts. Hope you're not allergic!

No allergies here! Smiley You forget, I now have your address and "It's not delevery, it's Delissio"!  If you are sending me an 'extra' I had to send you an 'extra' Enjoy! Grin Grin d

Ooo, I love manos!  I got some a little while ago for the first time, and knit with it for the first time recently. I loved it - so nice and soft and light and pretty.
Can you buy it in YT or do you order it? Because I don't know where to get it here (Ottawa),  I bought it while I was on holiday.

actually both wool shops in whitehorse carry manos! so yeah i tend not to be able to resist when i make it south - soo soft and lush (and great colours!)

lettuce knit does stock manos and they are super nice for mail order:

where do you get your wool in ottawa - i was there in november for some gallery training and went on a yarn shop hunt and found one (in the glebe?Huh) but was well underwhelmed i must say (but then maybe i get too excited about shopping when i leave the territory - hehehehe!)

I usually go to Yarn Forward since it is central. I recently discovered Knit-Knackers which has roving and spinning supplies too, plus good deals on individual balls/skeins of luxury yarns. They carry malabrigo, which seems similar to the manos.  There is also Wool-Tyme, and I know there is another store in the east end whose name escapes me.

Ok, I can finally post what I sent to starpiste.

She got a black and hot pink polkadotted clutch, with hot pink interior, hot pink pouch with stars screenprinted and polkadots on the inside, 2 collaged postcards, and a bunch of magnets.

Everything:

I had a blast crafting for her, we have very similar taste!
I'm so glad she likes them!

Oh wow! I'm amazed at how much everyone was able to fit into those little packages...I think I was scared to test the limits (feels somewhat inadequate). Here's what I sent Krysta. It's a beaded necklace and matching bracelets:
