So Vegbee, are you going to put BlooCanoe's awesome kit to good use and come knit in public with us next weekend?

we'll see how it goes this weekend.  I'm very bad at learning new things, but I have support in the form of my partner and his grandmother who will be there to tell me to help me out (or tell me that I'm doing it all wrong - it may end up a domestic situation).
I have, however, already publiclly announced that I will be learning to knit so I'm committed.

Well, at least, you can always blame the knit kit if things get tense. I hope it works for you though! But if it doesn't don't worry, it's not you. People knit all different ways and I hear lots of stories that people try to learn one way and they just don't get it: and then they learn another way and it clicks for them.

Well, I have been 'eyeing up' all the fabulous swap goodness, patiently waiting for my package and today it finally arrived! YAY! Grin Post marked May 16th  Huh the next swap definitely has to be about a way to speed up Canada Post. Anyway, my package has a beautiful beaded bracelet, earrings (that my daughter hijacked immediately Cheesy), a CBC pin and a absolutely fabulous mobile that for the life of me I can not figure out how to hang  Huh
Thank you so much, it is a lovely package. I will try to get photos posted. Thanx again Yamwam. d Smiley

I got my fabulous package from Knit North yesterday...yippie thanks so much!! I took pics but was too lazy to post them yesterday and then forgot this morning...I'll do it tonight for sure.. I am one lucky gurl... Mary made me a BEAUTIFUL baby cartigan (its perfect and I know my baby will look great in it...) She also sent me some cool fabric and a button to use to make a bag. The pic you sent is very cool too. I can't believe you live in a cabin with no running water...so cool! How difficult is that? Do you live there in the winter too?

thank you so much Mary...I love everything.

** I will post the pics tonight...
