I was looking for old toy and such for craft-fodder when I stumbled upon some of my art projects from lower school. Check it out, kids!

Kitty Plaque circa 1st grade (Grandpa-assisted i.e. he did all the hard stuff )

Kitty Dragon circa 2nd grade

Kitty in Chalk Pastel circa 3rd grade

Kitty on a bed circa 6th grade

Hmm... do we detect a theme here?
Anybody else have black-mail material like this hanging around?

Hey, that's great stuff!  Evidenced by the many ribbons you won for your Kitty pastel.  So, how many cats do you have now?  Wink

wow, that chalk pastel from 3rd grade is incredible...  I think I was still drawing crappy stick figures when I was in 3rd grade.
but oh yes, I have all sorts of crafty black mail, mainly bad angsty art from when I was in 8th grade and decided that I really wanted to be an artist... yikes...

Oh, those are the ribbons I won over a couple of years, not just for that picture! But, I did get second place in my division for that one.

As for how many cats do I have, heh, only two, but they are insane and make as much trouble as 6 cats.

That is a pretty amazing cat for third grade!  I remember when we had library in elementary school, I would always check out those 'how to draw' books and the teacher got annoyed with me.  Well, here we all are. Smiley

Kitty Pastel is RIDICULOUS. I couldn't come close to that even now.

My blackmail items are "poetry". Written in a secret storage space under the stairs. A storage space filled with candles and magazine eyes (clearly inspired by Mad Love with Drew Barrymore). The entire room has an overhead  clearance of about three feet. In that room I poured my angst-ridden sixteen year old heart onto paper. I never took a single page out, but I can recall vividly that every "poem" contained the following words:

Swirling laughter
Drowning
Choke
Shattered

God help me if anyone ever remembers that the old Christmas tree lights are under the stairs.  Embarrassed
