the obsession is definitely cemented.
after the godard masculin feminin tote, i was inspired to create something purely graphic (without a quote) yet still inspired by classic films

here's the newest tote: hand-sequined film camera tote bag





what do you think?...anyone else doing sequin designs?? i'd love to see any that are out there!!!

yup. I designed the film camera myself and hand-sewed every last sequin and bead by hand. I didn't include a close-up of the sequins so you could see that though.

that's gorgeous.  did it take long?  did you use some sort of stencil, or just freehand?

it took about five hours. i drew the design myself onto cardstock, cut it out and then traced it onto the bag.
then i sewed on the sequins.
i'm glad you like it!
