I've definitely decided to rip but I think I might try to swap/sell the yarn instead of making Roam.  I don't think a variegated sweater is really my style after all.

Sleeves are so hard to finish!  The sweater I am working on now I knit the sleeves first and then moved on to the body.  That's been working out really well.

have you tried knitting from alternating skeins, alligator?  that can help to break up pooling and such, if you switch skeins every two or four rows.

Yeah, I knit from 2 skeins from the start.  I kept messing with knitting 1 or 2 rows of each skein to break up the pooling but it didn't really work.  And I found that I was thinking and worrying a lot about that which wasn't really fun for me.  This is a good yarn, it's just not for me I think.  Though, I do think it would be really pretty as Roam.  I'm just maybe sick of looking at it.  If I still have it in a couple months I might try it with Roam because it does look nice in seed stitch.
