pinkmafia: i make it to santa cruz in about 2 hrs 15 minutes usually . . but i think i did it WAY quicker one time . . .like 1 1/2 hours . . heh . . but that was the "back way" . . you see it's a worm hole. . . and i've never been able to find that way again.

Thank you so much, Koi!  I love everything!  I have already placed the shrine & frame on the mantle in my kitchen.  They look great with all of the other decorations.  My husband loves it all too!

Not to change the subject, but how cool is this? Its software to make your own loteria cards.
Granted, we could probably all do the same thing with just about any image editing software
but its still kinda cool.

amaryllisroze, sorry for the late reply.  The far left panel (that you see in the pic of the shrine open) is the small flap that closes the box, where the worry dolls are on the outside.

These swaps are the best!  I love the colours and the great ideas.  I really want to do a mexicana swap, it's one of my favourite places, so I hope there is another one soonish!

I'm not sure when I'm coming yet but when I figure it out I will pm ya. I may be there a few weeks or it may only be a few days if I just stop to drop my daughter off  at my mom's and then travel out of the country. If I'm there for at least a week I would love to have you give me my first sailor jerry/traditional style tattoo!
