OMG--I am laughing so hard!  Honey looks adorable!  My hubby was hoping that you would do a pic of her in the sombrero!  Glad you could use all of the items, you practical girl!  I had a tough time taking a pic of the Mexican Cowgirl, too--I was not sure if the skeleton fabric was "Mexican" enough but I loved the lizards playing music!! He wanted it for his drum stuff!! Guess I will be sewing this weekend!  Enjoy--I sure did!

Not sure if this is a better pic or not!

Yay!!!!!  I'm so glad that you liked everything, alwaysinmyroom, especially the skeleton!  He was definitely my favorite thing to make.  I made him out of lots of paper mache and paint.  I think I'll make another one to keep for myself!  I didn't paint all those dots on the box... I have a silver metallic sharpie so I used that -- WAY easier than paint!  And the fumes are fun too (just kidding  Wink ).

By the way, Honey's little outfit might be the coolest swap item that I've ever seen!  How did you know what size she was?!?!

Paper mache?! You have no idea how much I respect anyone who can do stuff with anything paper!! It is not a medium I am comfortable with (glass and clay rank up there as well!).  I have purchased Sharpies for some of my swap partners as they were on their wists--I am going to have to get my own set--I have never seen a silver metallic one but of course I was not looking!!

Since I am a new swapper, I had to resort to stalking Wink and, uh, guessing a lot. I couldn't believe I signed up for this swap after seeing those amazing shrines, bags and other goodies from the first swap!  This is a high end group of artists here...  My poor dog and cats were models plus I am sure inkkitten had to "prep" her model Honey (i.e. safety pins are your friend...) Isn't she a hoot?

Koi--we are our worst critics--this is not a competition--it is whatever you can and want to do at the moment and for a stranger!! Anything is cool to me!! (I would love to swap with you sometimes as well...your name alone inspires me!!)

I am wearing my earrings and necklace to work.....hi ho, hi ho....bye

Ok, here it is.... Let me just say that amaryllisroze totally out did herself and now I need to find or make her a special something because I don't feel that my package compaired!  Undecided

Of course I imidiately opened the package when I got home even though I was very short on time but when I got back that evening my husband has highjacked all the best things for himself!  Which I knew was going to happen.... Wink

Here is my entire package!

Including a grow it yourself cilantro plant which I just adore because I make my own salsa and use lots of cilantro!!!  Here is a close up of the Cross & Sacred Heart (I think that's my fav.):

The AWESOME tray!

and magnets, which are on my fridge right now!

Also included was 2 beautiful cards, Guadaloupe temp tattoos, and party straws!

I can not thank you Enough!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!  I love it all and it's already being displayed in our livingroom!!!  Grin

First thing I have to say is that I didn't come up with the Guadalupe design myself. I stole it from this amazing artist who's artistic skills I covet. You all MUST check her out.

Thank you for all of the compliments! The sacred heart box I loved so much I had to make one for myself. I bought the "barbed wire" last halloween because I've been wanting to do something like this and FINALLY figured out what it was meant for! Its definitely my favorite piece of the bunch.

The straws have little paper sombreros that fold out around them!
