My Mum is turning 50 and so i have decide to make her a birthday tea. Any ideas on what to make>(it is winter in New Zealand!)

We did a birthday tea for one of my friends not long ago.  We made little finger sandwiches with the crusts cut off (for these you can use cucumber, or a veggie spread), little muffins, cookies, some sweet breads, like date nut...The theme was mostly little finger foods.  Does that help?
