wow! you did an AMAZING job re-creating that dress! its few and far between that you find (or maybe just that i find Tongue ) re-created dresses to be so accurate. You look like a star!

i actually like your dress better than the original!! its a curvy and sophisticated look, whereas ms. alba's is more "fashiony" but makes her look like she has bizarre proportions (or maybe its just because she is so skinny she might break).

did i mention i love your dress?

I loooove your version! It's much more classy and elegant than the original. You did a wonderful job! Did you use a pattern, or just wing it??

Your dress turned out super nice. It's a really accurate recreation of the original, but I like that it's not exactly the same. I agree with stereoette, I like yours better!

tickleagangster--i didnt use a pattern, but we made a mock-up of it first to get the right fit before cutting the real material

Love the dress! It looks amazingly like the original one, and I've seen and touched the real one, and i think your version is better...
I agree that your version is way better.  Yours is very sexy while the other is kinda skanky.
Agreed.
I like how you did the lace on the front better than the original. The original looks like they said, "Oh... and it needs a little something else." Yours looks intentional.

Rockin.
Agreed!

Wow, what a great job. I agree with the others, your version is better (and very similar to the original, I'm really impressed). The original almost looks like the fabric is pulling since it's so tight on the backside. Yours has a much more natural fit.
Agreed =)

Ah. The real one isn't even lace. It's like a sort of mesh-y thingie. Yours is better. <3
