I want to swap crafts, supplies or local goodies for things only available in Hawaii.

I can get fabric, mugs, pens, calenders, postcards, wrapping paper, tissue paper, tiki stuff, hula girl stuff, clothing, macadamia nuts, chocolates, asian candies, honey, jelly, japanese fabric, and lots more stuff. Let me know what you want and I will see if I can help you out!

I would love to do this!  My husband and I went to Oahu for our honeymoon last year and are actually going again in October-- we loved it so much!  What kinds of things would you be looking for from the mainland?  Crafts or other items?

I guess it depends on where you live. I LOVE crafted goodies and I LOVE fabric, mexican things found in Mexican stores, craft supplies, handbags, clothing, clothing accessories and DIY kits. I'm open to whatever!

Ugh-- ok, so I just typed out my response to this and my computer crapped out on me for some reason-- sorry about that!

Anyway, what I previously attempted to type was that I live in Massachusetts and can easily get to New Hampshire and Maine as well.  We have a plethora of craft/thrift/supply places around here, so if there are actual supplies and such that you are looking for, I could probably find some!  The only thing I can't really think of is where a Mexican store might be-- however, I can do some digging and see if I can find one.

As for crafts, I do pretty much everything, but am not so great at sewing or knitting yet.  (I'm learning slowly!)  I do a lot of glass work, and lately have made a lot of mosaics and microscope slide pendants.  (I do stained glass as well.)  I love doing paper crafts and altered art, can crochet though nothing too complicated, love to embroider, play around with clay and beads, recently became addicted to needle felting and making wet felted beads, and if I have a tutorial am willing to try most anything else.  (And am more than willing to put together any DIY kits too!)  Anyway, if any of this sounds good, let me know-- if not, no worries!  Smiley
