Well, I just finished my first bag Grin, following mi_cocoo's "easy peasy tote" pattern. I figured that I should start out slow and easy. So I took my time, and although the stitching isn't straight, and I had difficulties reading the tute, I think I did an overall okay job. I mean, for the first time. I didn't have anything to make the bag stiffer and sturdier, so it's really floppy. Oh, well.

that's a really cute purse...and a super great job for your first bag too! I like the fabric you used for the lining...adds a fun splash of color...the first bag I ever made didnt even have a lining.

Oh, it's really good. I like the 'jeans' style of the pockets.

seeingstars: I actually made the bag out of this really big cargo skirt of mine. So it had a bunch of pockets on it already. I just cut them out and sewed them on.  Grin
