so i tried my hand at jewelry making for the first time today... i love the look of uncolored shrinkies (something about rough plastic just does it for me, i guess) and i thought it would be cute to come up with some cloud patterns with details.  i wish my camera was not on the fritz, otherwise the pictures would be clearer, but here goes:

there's the charm. i've actually made 2 now, and the second one came out better (less lopsided) but i only have a picture of the first one.

okay, i'm just being goofy there, but thats the necklace on...

please tell me what you think, i've never made jewelry before but I thought this was a slightly cute idea just for hanging around jewelry. I'd love to hear your suggestions for improvement... as i get better with cutting the plastic, I plan to do more intricate designs...

Fourthed. It is really cute Cheesy.  I love clouds, and that color of plastic is perfect for them. It's even translucent, it's like it wasmade to be clouds. Genius.

What did you use to cut the shrinky dink and the holes for the necklace? It looks really precise. Has it been shrunken, or did you just leave it?  I guess that defeats the purpose, but you'd get more plastic surface out of it. (I've never used shrinky dinks before ^^; Shame on me.)
