Just thought i'd post a couple of pics of swaps i've done that are now finished.

My animals are not intended to be realistic, like the wonderful Radal's are. More quirky.

This is Geoffrey the giraffe who's neck is very short making him look like a pony. He's only about an inch and a half high.



And this is Filbert the fox...........

I love how each person develops their own eye, hand and style.  Your work is so delightful, makes me smile and want to hold the little critters in my palm.

That is the friendliest fox ever!   And such a tiny giraffe- am so impressed with those of you who can attain such detail in such small pieces.

Very nice!  Great expressions on everybody, especially the giraffe on the little pouch.  How in the world did you needle that teeny giraffe?  I would have skewered myself something awful...

I actually wish I could do cute animals/ caricatures- I'm glad that you can!

i struggle a lot with the cartoon vs realistic ordeal in my felting as well, and cartoon usually wins out, lol. i dig your giraffe and filbert!

I know what you mean. I've never actually tried to make anything realistic (probably for fear of failing) but I figure that this is my artistic style, like it or lump it lol.
