Alright everyone, here we go again... round two has officially begun...
Sign ups are long per requests of a number of participants now to June 1.

The point of this swap is to sweat your buns off making 5 of the same items, and send them to 5 people, and you will receive 5 different items in return. This is a sampler type swap, for those of us who have crafty businesses or who would like to drum up some personal swap advertising and get our crafty goods some exposure!


There have been a couple of slight changes to details please read carefully;
This is the sweat shop swap, a labor of love if you will! The opportunity to put a sampler of your items out in the crafting world, with a business card, or your Etsy store location, is here! We will be crafting in multiples of 5 (and no more than 10) so you may craft 5 items or 10 items (not 6 or 4 or 11). The number of items you craft will be the number of items you receive back. The items will be a medium size, and can be 'bundles', for instance, you can do a bundle of 3 thank you cards, and send 5 bundles (or 15 cards). You will have the option of choosing your top 2 favorite items of the other crafters. No guarantees but I will try to get everyone at least one of their two favorites! When you are approved for the swap you will simply put your name here with your sweat shop item after being approved, by June 2. Ok the rules...

~This is a sampler swap. You must craft (5) of the same item, you may put your name in the 'hat' twice, so you may craft 10 items to receive 10 items back... you may do 10 of the same item or 5 of one item and 5 of another.

~ Your craft must be one of the best things you do, this is not a time to try something new

~ These are to be a medium project, meaning (it should take you at least 4 hours and $7 in supplies for all 5 items) or (a retail price of between $4-$9 each). This can be balanced out if it takes you longer but you use a less costly supply or vice versa...

~ When PM-ing your info to the organizer (Javastain) please also add a name and description of your craft(s).

~ When you are approved post your items(s) here, so people have an idea of what you are submitting and can make their top pick choices. Pictures would be awesome!

~ Wait for a list of items to show up on this thread, then PM organizer with your top 2 'wanted' choices (no
guarantees! but I will try!) by June 3... (you have two days to pick your fav's). In round 1 there was no problem getting everyone their top 2 fav's... If I don't get a PM from you, I will assume you don't have a preference.

~ a random matching of recipients will occur on or around June 4th (depending on how many people get their requests in to me). You may contact your recipients for flavor/color/size or style options. Please also PM your sender's your mailing address as well as sending to the organizer.

~ I will be doing check in PM's, if you do not respond to check in's you will be eliminated from the swap.

~ Send your 5 items out on June 19th. Please DO NOT SEND early without checking with javastain first.

~ include any information about your project (order information or your Etsy address) with your packages!

~ Sign ups close June 1, send outs June 19

I'm making 2 sets of 5: hanspun yarn and soap.

And umm, here are some exampes of yarn-I'll take color preferences, but everything will be in a wool/mohair blend or 100% wool

And soap, which is cold process and can be just plain bars, or felted in wool like a built in washcloth...double-mint castille bars (olive oil, coconut oil, and palm oils scented with spearmint and peppermint-it's not a true castille, but there's enough olive oil to make it come close)...

This is my First Swap here on Craftster.  I thought I would jump in with both feet!  I will be making 5 Fused Glass Pendants/Necklaces.  They will be similar to but not limited to the following.  They can include a gold or silver bail with a gold or silver chain to match or black cording.

Hi, my first sweat shop swap! Ideal, since I'm in China. Hehe. I'll be making two sets of five crocheted tiny things...

1. Crocheted birds



2. Crocheted eyeballs

 
(I can add pus or blood vessels if you want them. Just let me know.)

All of these can be tiny stuffies, key chains, or bag charms. The largest bird or eyeball will not measure more than 2.5" tall. Please let me know your preference (i.e. stuffie, key chain, bag charm, and colours you like) after receivers have been assigned! 

Oh, I have a few mobile phone charm tags as well, so I can do them as well, but I only have four of those.
