thanks for the votes of confidence guys... I'll not worry about safety eyes...

I am still planning on getting wool felt for the wings...  our beloved organizer has put in a firm vote for batties to be pincushionable and wool felt for wings (and ears and little feets) = good place to put needles.

(shakes head) and the person I talked to today thinks we are all mad.... (has a bat phobia apparently, she's usually really cool) but does admit that Austin *is* a bit bat mad.

I may make an extra (innocent look) like I don't do that a lot *anyaway*, I have four pouches left over from Last round... I may make an extra and take it in to show her, maybe then it'll make sense.  The blue one I made for Lance for work (it's a chamois for cleaning glasses) to wipe of his computer monitor got swiped by his boss.... Lance found it amusing how many of his coworkers had plots to "rescue" batty... we both think to set on their own computer monitor to "clean" them  Roll Eyes  big butch "manly" men that they all are...  can't Possibly be that it's cute... (impish grin)

I'm totally joining!
Just trying to decide between one or two sets of stuff!
So- I have one question. Can you request not getting an item? I'm normally not picky- but the idea of washable pads or tampons terrify me. If you can deal with it more power to you- but I would NEVER use them and it would just be a waste.

the first round i had requested not to have jewelry, because i dont wear jewelry, and she set me up with everyone who isnt making jewelry. i think that there are so many people in this round it wouldnt be a problem.

Bobolink-If I remember right, Javastain did say she would take one least favorite(easiest way to say it)vote.  And if you do happen to get paired up with a pad of mine I would certainly be willing to make you a elephant, you just might have to give me some extra time. I also don't think anyone would mind you(or anyone else) swapping items like that with other people. I would much rather my stuff go to someone who would use it.  I know where you are coming from too, I don't think a crocheted tampon is for me either.
I also don't wear necklaces, so they wouldn't be shown off like they should with me.

Mikaiyawa- beads are fine with me too!  I'm trying not to buy anything I don't have to, so everyone is probably going to get the same color elephants, same colors in the pic I posted.

Devilninny- I love those elephants!

Fortune_32 - I have been wanting some kanzashi flowers, hopefully I'll get paired with you.

I'm really thinking about doing a third set, there are so many awesome things I want!
I'm such a greedy little devil.

But you don't have to craft 15 items in 18 days, I know I've already started my pads.  It is kinda nice doing it like an assembly line instead of one at a time.  I think I will see how far along I am when June 1 gets here.

Actually, I guess it depends on how much choice you are planning on giving to your partners for colors, etc.
For the pads it will be a choice of cow or cat fabric.
Would anyone want  black and white elephants?

I WANT to do this but I also have to make a dress for a wedding I'm going to soon (read - see two ex boyfrends at said wedding). What to do...

Anyone eager for my creations? That might sway my indecision...
