given that last time it was pouches and fat birds... I'm sort of sticking to a theme (wry smile)  I have this pattern for little bats that is just to cute, and I live in Austin.  We have a huge colony of the little things under the South Congress Street Bridge, it's a tourist attraction at this time of year.  The bats take longer to sew than the fat birds (but less time than the pouches) but folks can poke me private if they want so this is more an unofficial "stash busting" thing.  I have short bits of velvet (for the bodies) I just need some wool wing felt, since this seems to be headed "pincushion" direction... Grin
