Actually, the birthday swaps are my favorite because I believe every person's life needs to be celebrated!!

I received the most BEAUTIFUL foldaway knit accesory kit from SewPixie today! It is just so cute and pretty and well-made, I love it! And I love the fabric (green leaves)! I like everything about it! I wish my scanner was working  so I could show it off. But to describe it: it is a lovely green little folding fabric kit that has pockets on the outside (one with a set of folding scissors attached to it!), and on the inside when you unfold it, there is a needle/pin book, and spots to hold stitch markers and other goodies.

Thank you so much, SewPixie! This is a wonderful birthday gift and you can rest assured it has gone to a good home that will care for it well!    I really admire your sewing skills!

I got my package just the other day! Okay, I got it maybe a week ago, can't quite remember--was so busy crafting for another swap I lost track of time.

In this lovely package I got a book (squee!). Not just any book, but A Clockwork Orange! O my friends, your little droog SeeMe kopat that horrorshow book. Viddy well, O my dear sisters, your faithful little ptitsa thought that book was real horrosrhow. There I was, all on my oddy knockywhen this book  came in, a real horrorshow thing to receive. Simplyfussfree, that sammy ptitsa that she is, also sent me a bit of pretty polly--like, from other countries. Sent me a couple of Irish euros, and even some good ol' Engers golly, eh.

Your faithful droog, O My Friends, sent her  back some things in the mail. Here's hoping that the starry, gloopy lewdies at the Pee-Oh don't lose it. (Else there might be some tolchoking down to them.)

I received from trillian the other day!

She made me the most perfect bag that's big enough to carry all of my make-up and books, and even my lunch for the day! I know this because I've brought it to work every day since I got it. I also got a matching wristlet that is perfect for going to the bar (yes I tried it this weekend.) And the coolest wallet. She almost didn't send it to me because she thought it looked bad, but it turns out that it's my favorite! My friends couldn't believe that someone actually made it!

I'm glad you liked them I had a serious case of swapangst while waiting to hear that they had arrived safely, I even dreamed about it (very confusing dream involving airplanes, penguins and the american postal service... all I can say is that it made sense while I was dreaming it )
