So until I made this Bows and Arrows stole for the Ongoing Stuff I Can Make swap, I had only completed a scarf, a hat, and a sock.  I am so proud I finished this I wanted to share it here too.

The pattern is here: http://bythehook.blogdrive.com/archive/166.html and I used Lion Brand microspun in black.  I didn't use as much as the pattern called for, although the wrap did measure a tad shorter than the pattern said when it was done.  I found the pattern really easy to follow, so much so that after the first completion of it I didn't need to look anymore.

So, if you are a pretty new crocheter, get out there and tackle something that seems crazy! Without the swap I wouldn't have tried anything like this, and now I am happy I did it.

It's lovely! Smiley
Great job!

Just out of curiousity, do you mean you have only made one sock? Sounds like something I would do! Wink

thanks for your comments!

I did not mean to make one sock! I got distracted, but I finally started the second one last night.  Smiley

Glad to hear that!  Grin Finishing things is good - though I'm not really one to talk.

I think I've offically finished 2 projects in the 8-9 years I've been crocheting... and one of those was an amiguri I got bored with and didn't make legs for.  Tongue

I have the same problem, and am trying to finish more.  I also have an unfinished granny square bag which the socks distracted me from....

Wow, very nice! I went and snagged the pattern myself, I want to try this one for myself.
