I got my fabulous package from vampirategurl08 yesterday!  Grin Thank you so much! It was so sweet. I saw the oversized envelop covered with Christmas stamps and thought, "It's Christmas from Saskatchewan" and all the little packages inside confirmed this thought. Wink She made me a shoulder bag from material that looks like the ocean.

I mentioned my wallet exploded so she made me a wallet too. There was a cute stenciled tee shirt that read "If you aren't part of the solution you're part of the precipitate".  Grin

There was a tiny stone dinosaur from Drumheller. She made a clear quartz wrapped in wire necklace. There was a bracelet too- the label made me laugh. It read that it was made from what she thought were rocks! Clearly she thinks about geology like I do (though I work with geologists, I'm at the "looks like a rock to me" level). Wink It's very pretty. My favorite thing, just blew me away, it's so beautifully handcrafted! She made a beaded earth with cross section so you can see the core, mantle and crust. She's beaded all the continents and oceans! It's currently at home... but I think I'll bring it to my office and make all my colleagues jealous.  Grin She even included some glass beads to encourage me to do more beading. Thank you so much!

Hey guys!!  I was away for a week and a half getting hitched, and when I got home my lovely package from Trifarina was waiting for me.  Smiley

I got:
*a stuffed halite crystal (tee hee)
*2 clipboards decorated with forams for my fieldwork needs
*a jean jacket embroidered on the back with a flaming rock and the slogan "TUFF SCHIST"

The jacket is truly masterful!  It makes me want to go to grad school just so that I can wear this jacket all the time and make everyone jealous.  I just woke up this morning and I'm still a bit fuzzy and completely unpacked, but when I find my camera in my suitcase I'll post pics for everyone to see.  Thanks so much Trifarina!!!

P.S. gestalta_sarah, you should post pics!  I forgot to take any before I sent to you, or I'd post them for you  Sad

P.P.S. I love that beaded earth that minouette received.

I hope the jacket fits!
But you don't have to go to grad school to be stylish!
In fact, I do believe the two are antiposed...
