Now that sounds like a fun swap rackycoo--but I have so many people that I admire and would love to have as a partner--choosing would be so hard for me !!!

I have been watching this swap, though, and it has been pretty awesome!!

Speaking as one of your last swap partners, I would be surprised if someone wasn't trying to work up the courage to call YOU!  Smiley

teapotdky is the BEST swap angel ever!!   Grin  When my partner meowari disappeared, I was left without an altered/filled altoid tin in exchange for what I sent.  teapot volunteered to make me one.  And she spoiled me!!  I seriously can't get enough of this gal's polymer clay skills.

She sent me three main items: a kaleidioscope (sp?) to inspire my writing (color as inspiration - I love it!  a new take on inspiration, just what I need); a round Altoids tin so thoroughly revamped and elegant as to be unrecognizable; and a mini scrapbook.

The tin is smoothly covered in a pale beige, with exquisite pink roses (how DOES she do it?!) and a banner that reads "Love/Comfort."

Inside, the tin is lined in red clay.  Inside the top, she has placed pearls, buttons, and key.  But just using regular found objects wasn't good enough - no, she actually MADE all three from clay!!   Shocked  The mini journal is a huge favorite of mine - I collect them.  This one shows a baby's hand grasping the mother's finger, and inside the front cover is a lovely Bible verse: "As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you."  This means a lot; thank you.

Here are details of the intricate trim on the kaleidioscope.  I just love this - it's going to live in my writing desk and be there to help me get reinspired when I need to let my mind wander adn come up with new ideas.

And finally... hidden inside the tin... my FAVORITE THING EVER...

...CLAY FOOD!!!   Grin  Grin  Grin

I am making them into magnets for my file cabinet as we speak.  Check out the incredible detail!!  The donut is shockingly perfect; the "cheese" on the pizza is shaved to resemble grated curls of cheese.  I'm now convinced that teapotdnky is not a human - she's a 6 inch tall pixie.  How else do you make things so detailed and itty bitty, unless you're miniature??   Grin

THANK YOU for the wonderful angel gifts!!  I feel so special and cared for.  much love!!   Kiss

WOW those are amazing! Shocked

That is some real talent.  I can't imagine how frustrated I would be just thinking about how to accomplish that tiny food.
