Yep, cotneyroo made it for me.  It's called Cleaves and it's available on the Knitty.com website.  I was just modeling it after I got off work.  I suppose you could wear it like that, but I don't think I'm ballsy enough.  I'd wear a tank top or something underneath.

It'd look great either way.

I received from the amazing craft_t_chic and attempted to post pics last night but nothing would cooperate.  So I will try again tonight!  Anyway, let me tell you ladies-- they don't call her craft_t_chic for nothing! She sent me the coolest package-- I love it so much!  Included was a prom book and butterfly broach, an altered PEZ (which I love to smithereens), and handmade journal that is absolutely gorgeous, and a an organizing binder for my paper and ephemera, complete with tons of ephemera inside!!! Thank you again so much Amanda-- I promise I will get pics up tonight, come hell or high water!

After much fuss with my computer and camera dock I am finally able to show off the fantastic scarf/shrug from KungPow. SewPixie what do you mean a scarf/shrug? Have you been sniffing mod podge?

This my friends is a scarf/shrug:


It is from Knitty (can't recall the name) and as you can sort of tell, it can be unfolded with the buttons removed to live life as a scarf/shawl. Or...you can undo the buttons in the middle and wear as a long sleeve shrug as modeled by a sleepy me last night:


You can also undo most of the buttons, toss it once around the neck and wear as a short sleeve shrug/scarf combo! Brilliant.

There was a 'corsage' as well, a cute flower pin (crocheted I think) that I forgot to photograph. Oh and also some great recipies.

The awesome ephemera organizing binder (note the black cat ribbon on the outside-- totally flipped when I saw that, let me tell you!) -- this was a hit with my husband who is concerned over the current state of my craft room:


Now this has been a crafty wish of mine since I can remember-- a handmade journal with mixed papers!  Isn't it wonderful?

I seriously squealed when I saw the PEZ-- and the fact that it is "Yo Sonja" instead of "Hello Kitty" totally cracked me up!  Craft_t_chic is the best!
