irid3sc3nt, I always remember to take pictures. Except this time: I forgot to take pictures. So post when you can, and I'm thrilled you liked everything.

Me, I'm still over the moon about all the fabulous stuff you sent me.  Crazy image-heavy montage follows.

First, an absolutely gorgeous and super-summery reversible wrap skirt!  (saucily turned up at the hem to show the lovely alternate-side fabric).

Three pairs of homemade knitting needles from dowels, with ice cream themed clay toppers. I am totally and completely in awe. You are a total rock star. Sizes 10-1/2, 11, and 15, for the knitting geeks in the audience.

And last, but certainly not least:

a super-fun ball of novelty yarn and FIVE, count 'em, FIVE pairs of shrinky dink earrings, the obvious favorite being the ones of Red Fraggle.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I think Craftster Prom is my favorite swap yet.

Debbies only get respect in the knitting world.  How unfair is that?

Because Poe wrote on both of them.

Anyone up for a Jasper Fforde swap?

I know. I think I will wear one at a time all rocker-girl style. irid3sc3nt is way talented, folks.

And yeah, the knitting needles are super-genius. What better way to combine two of my favorite things? (and that's not even getting into my love from afar of clay and of power tools, both of which were used in their production...)

mmm, ice cream. who knew what a food-based swap this would turn out to be? Wink

I received a ...wow... wonderful knitted scarf/shrug from KungPow today. Somehow the DH messed up the camera dock software so I am trying to get that reinstalled so I can post pictures. Thank you!

I'm sooo glad you like them.  I was trying to think of series of things and ice-cream came to mind (am I always thinking of it?).  I like creating from sculpey and making knitting needles was a new thing for me--very fun.  They're a little on the larger side for needles, but the smaller dowel rods looked a little too flimsy.  Plus the bigger needles you get, the more they cost.  Oh and I'll be putting up pics!

Happiness can be found in the darkest of times...if one only remembers to turn on the lights.

You can lead a heart to love, but you can't make it fall.

Yep, cotneyroo made it for me.  It's called Cleaves and it's available on the Knitty.com website.  I was just modeling it after I got off work.  I suppose you could wear it like that, but I don't think I'm ballsy enough.  I'd wear a tank top or something underneath.
