I received from the loveliest of lovely angels today, cinderly! She sent me a fantastic crafting binder to hold all those tutorials and inspirations that I print off of Craftster.

It's Frida-fantastic! The covers are a collage of pics of Frida, her paintings and quotes.

There are section dividers, this is the one for Resin: (Note that she covered the water area of the tub with resin to make it look like water!! OMG!!)

For the clay divider she made clay antlers, for the beading section she covered the background in beads and added a necklace (gorgeous beads!!), for the sewing section she embroidered flowers on a fabric frame,for the misc. section she added glitter to the painting, and she must have used three ink cartridges to produce all of the fantastic extra images. There are also four transparency markers so that I can make notes on top of the page protectors she included.


This is the first time I was flaked on in a swap, and my angel really went far, far, far above and beyond. I'm so amazed and thankful!  Cinderly, YOU ROCK!!

I'm sooo glad you liked everything!  I was really pleased with the finished product, but since it's not my usualy style, I was worried that I might not measure up.  (Ah, swap anxiety, my constant companion!)

Will you still like it if I let you in on a little secret?  I used ModgePodge to mimic the resin because I don't have any resin.     I was so worried it wouldn't dry in time!!

Enjoy the binder.  It was way fun to make.

Horray! I didn't stitch in the cream ribbon on the top in case you wanted to change it out with another color from time to time. I was torn between the cream and some peach I had that went with the peach-ish color in the skirt.

princessblueberry the shrug looks great on you. I really need to try that pattern.
