Heres my first real completed project! I took a class a few months ago and we made a hat together but that doesnt really count.  I used Caron Simply Soft Brites in a Grape and I decided to go for a mock turtleneck look. I initially started knitting this right after I took the class when Scruffums had just gotten her hair cut.  It was still winter and she was shivering a bunch so I thought it would be a nice gesture.  Now its a little too warm to wear but I still think it looks cute, if not a little embaressed.

Scruffums looks adorable in her new mock turtleneck.  Grape is definitely her colour.

You did a really awesome job both knitting the sweater AND getting your doggy to pose! Very good first project, I never would have known it was your first if you hadn't said so. All the rows are all very neat and I like the mock turtleneck.  Smiley

Thanks for all the compliments! Im really happy with the way it turned out with the exeption of the ribbing on the bottom edge. I think I bound off a little too tightly, but I think she still digs it. Hmmm I probably could knit a sweater for my rat *ideas*. He actually has a bad foot so it would be cool to knit him a little bootie for it Smiley Spinning is super fun *but* takes forever so I might have to invest in the 1 skein wonder pattern or something.
