Last year, I mailed out 2 packages on the same day.  One went to Oregon, and another went to a town that's ~ three hours (driving time) away from my home.  It took 4 days for one package to get to Oregon, and it took almost 2 weeks for the other package to get delivered.

I doubt I'll EVER figure out how the postal system works Tongue

GAH! I missed a lot of pages in just one day... -_-;;
I currently have three sewing machines, one of which I actually use. It become another sick addiction...every time I see one for a good price or at a garage sale or something I feel the need to buy it, though I obviously don't need it. I've put off My mother has dragged me away from buying at least two this summer at sales. The one I use is her old JCPenney machine from the 70's. I also got a 60's Singer from Freecycle when my mother still thought she was going to be able to keep hers from coming with me when I moved. hahahaha *ahem*

I bought a new Brother on sale the day after Thanksgiving...just took it out of the box a month ago and have still yet to use it. But it looks pretty sitting in my craft room.  Grin  I think more than anything I'm scared of the new one. I've heard horror stories from my aunt about the newer model sewing machines and how they always break or screw up something in your project...so I just keep on using my moms old one. Maybe someday I'll have the courage to move the new one from the it's perch atop my crafting bins over to the sewing table.

THREE SEWING MACHINES?!
I only wish I had that many.. *dreams* We just bought a new one a couple months ago , and it's great! I used to have an old Singer one, too. Wait, I don't think it was a Singer.. I think it was a Sears brand  Wink But it broke so we finally got a new one. It's so great. It's only broken once because I was stupid and got the needle jammed into the bobbin thingy and it made wierd sounds, so we had to get it fixed -_-; But other than that, it hasn't broken or screwed up any of my projects   Tongue If anything, it's made them better  Grin
You should take the Brother one down from it's perch and get some use into it! I'm sure you'll be super happy with it!

Ooh, nice fabrics Homerof2! I'm sure someone will choose you soon, everyone just got sidetracked with conversation  Wink

Whoops have I stalled this? Lemme just finish scoffing the American biscuits SunshynDzyne sent me then I'll see what I can add  Smiley

ETA: I've put up some more things I can bear to part with (it goes against my natural hoarding tendencies to let fabrics go, I always tell myself they'll come in handy someday Cheesy)
This swap has made me realise
a) I have a ridiculous number of stripey fabrics. I think English fabric shops are obsessed with stripes and
b) Getting photos of fabric is harder than it would first appear - whenever I shrink the size down the pattern looks warped!

I'm having great fun watching for now though Cheesy

Okay, since my package to Homerof2 should be arriving any day now, I feel safe using my 2nd claim. (Sad that I have a method down for this swap, isn't it? lmao)

I'd like to claim from Rosali's stash...#13 green and white stripe cotton FQ and #16 Michael Miller b&w dots FQ. I've been loving that fabric since I saw the awesome tote you made for someone in another swap.

It's good to see the cookies are being enjoyed, Rosali. But they'll be gone by tomorrow...I may have to end up sending you more soon! lol

Here are my fabrics  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=94586.120
