This is my first attempt at making jewelry. I've been wearing this first necklace a lot, which makes me excited to exploit the rest of my massive stash of beads and oddments.

It's just silver wire with intermittent beads, wrapped around a cord. I added one extra twist of wire to make one of the blue bobbles stick out. More details and a close-up on the blog.

I made a second version, but it turned out not at all my style. I call it Bride Of The Unicorn.

I can't remember what I was intending it to look like, but I don't think "grapes made of pearls" figured into the plan. Oops!

I like them both, they're really cute. I love wrapped wire necklaces, and they both have a bit of quirkiness to them thats fun as well!

P.S: I love the banana hammock

I love the unicorn necklace. So soft and feminine looking.
