After much thought I've decided to go with a tie-dye theme for my high school graduation and going away party. It's simple, yet fun. I was worried if I had a more "difficult" theme, then the guests wouldn't dress appropriately.

My guests range from grandparents to children (5+)

I'd really appreciate it if you could throw some suggestions/advice/input my way! I'll put a list of what I have.

I have decided to make the invitations myself, so no suggestions are needed on making/buying them.
-paint splattered cards for family
-paint splattered fliers for friends

-tie dye

-tie dye or brightly colored plates, utensils, cups, napkins

-bring your own white tshirt to tie dye

some of the ideas on thepage are pretty corny, but theres one on a 'note station' you could buy or make your own tie-dye paper and use that for people to write notes to eachother, you could also decorate/have everyone decorate their box with the tie dye color designs, to help bring in the theme more

plus the obvious of dyeing dips for chips and veggies and icing for cupcakes

what about tie-dyeing one of your bed sheets and having friends and family etc. write little notes on it

good luck!

Make all-white cupcakes and then provide food colouring so that your guests can decorate their own dessert.

Be kind, I'm new to etsy!
