I'm so excited- I finished my first dress!  I've sewn a skirt before this- at a sewing class from JoAnn, but this is the first project i've done by myself- it even has a zipper-which i thought was pretty easy.. even though i was scared at first.. hehe.
I got everything at walmart, and the total was about $15 all together. Which is awesome because i got to make it fit exactly how I wanted it to!
I love sewing... and my new pink polka dot dress. Smiley

Heres a picture of it:

I used this pattern: view C

It took me about 4 nights alltogether to finish it.
I love it and i can't wait to wear it Smiley

Ah, so cute! I love it. I'm also working on my very first dress, and it happens to be an "Easy McCalls" one too. Yours looks very professional, and it gives me hope for my own attempt.  Grin

I love it!  It's so cute.  I <3 dresses.

How easy was it?  Like, did it especially have good instructions?  *is lame*

I think it's really cute, and I would definitely wear something like that.  Great job, it looks awesome Cheesy

I have that pattern!!
It's been sitting in my room for ages, I pulled it out to look at it but I can't seem to make heads or tails of it.
I must be stupid because I find patterns so hard to understand :p I end up winging everthing.
but now that I see how absolutley AWESOME this dress turned out maybe I should give iot another shot.
The fabric you picked out is so cute to!!
