I received this wonderful package today from RubyTuesday! It contains beads, jewellery findings, a crocheted unicorn and turtle! (They can stand up on their own, btw; they were just tired from travelling.) Everything is great and your crochet skills are superb.

The turtle is called Pinkeye. She's sweet.



The unicorn (who is slightly more outgoing) followed me to a rock concert at school this evening. We had a good time and he became quite popular. Here he is with three lovely students and computer guy David (who performed an extraordinary version of Samantha Fox's "Touch Me" at the concert).

I am sooooo impressed with Rubytuesday's crochet skills - the turtle and the unicorn are so well made.  I am not into little things like that, but they are so cute

I've received my RealSimple magazine backissues from Leylia!  She thought she had more, but couldn't find them so she sent me two 2 fabulous headbands (which I immediately used).  Thank you, leylia!

I received my surprise from Bonzo Spangley this morning....

A wonderful beaded necklace and bracelet :-) ..... each in a cute little jewellery bag!



Here's a close-up, my camera's not wonderful but i hope you can see the swirls in the wire, -must have taken you ages Bonzo, it reminds me of the sea too :-)



The set is wonderful, very me :-) ....I can't wait to wear them

They are quite soft and snuggly, rosali.  They were knitted and I asked leylia about them (i knit, too) and now I have the link to the tutorial!   They're great for my hair since it's gotten long and all I've been using were tiny rubber bands meant for short hair.

I just have to butt in and say that that crocheted unicorn so just so awesome, and just so me, even down to the colors!  Next time I do a wishlist swap this will definitely be on it!  antigone, you are sooo lucky and Ruby Tuesday is absolutely wonderful!
