I made this quilt for my boy.  He's now six months old . . . I had it 80% finished about 9 months ago, but totally stalled on the hand quilting.  I was doing hand quilting in the shape of bananas.  I finally gave up and just finished it by machine last week.  I guess that will make it more sturdy . . .

Very pretty!  Colorful.

You baby looks like a little angel all snuggled up in it.

Thank you!

My grandmother had made baby blankets for my brother and me and we both adored them.  She passed away a few years ago, but I really wanted to make one for my baby.  He's the sweetest! (but i'm a bit biased)

Beautiful! I love that your baby USES the quilt. I made a quilt for my sister's son and she hung it on the wall even though I begged her not to.
