EDITED: A SPINNY SKIRT! and a table cloth NO MORE

I found this round table cloth at the thrift store...

it made me think of my lil sis cuz she LOVES yellow... and it's VERY yellow...
so I decided to make her a skirt "a spinny skirt!" that's what she calls full circle skirts.
I couldn't decide on what I wanted to do about a waist for it, but I found a white pillow case w/yellow trim.

I ended up using the idea of a pillow case skirt and attached the table cloth to it.
the pillowcase is now the waist band and the slip for the skirt (the table cloth woulda been alil see through in the light )

she loves it.... ALOT...


she wouldn't let me get an action pic while she was spinning... I just dunno why...
I hope I wasn't confusing with all my rambling...

EDIT::: well you guys want to know how I did this skirt and I looked around and found this tute on what the craft and I'm like YEA! that's what I did! who knew? http://www.whatthecraft.com/tuts/circ.htm
and you basically do that but instead of cutting out a circle of fabric and possibly sewing panels together for a bigger circle   , you just use a table cloth that's already a circle! and for the waist band you use a top off of a pillow case, that way you can just take out the seam on one side on the top of the pillow case and thread the elastic through it. pretty easy right? let me know if I was just like totally confusing or not... cuz it makes sense to me... but that's not saying much LOL
