k8kre8s & kittykill, thanks for the compliments about the scary boobs! Trust me, I have few body issues (because I refuse to have any, damnit!) so the scary comment was just because sometimes they do scare me! *grins*

Bigmouth, the experiment worked out well! The dogwood link was a lovely case of serendipity. The "deformed petal" only shows because you know it's there and I can peer at it up close and then I forget it's there! It's awesome. Revel in the awesomeness of your creation!

devilninny, yay! I'm so glad you're using your bag. Compliments? Ok, I carry my applique purse and no, er, one compliment. Wonder if I look evil or something? *grins* I understand about the explaining swaps thing. I tried to explain to my sister all the stuff I've been doing lately: swaps, postcrossing, travelling notebooks. She's decided that I'm going to get myself killed by some maniac. Smiley

Homerof2, action shots are good for you! Everyone is the hawtness, must show it off. More seriously though, in being online for almost 11 years now and posting my picture for almost all that time I've had a bare handful of people say something mean. I get worse and more rudeness from teenage boys in cars offline. Be Brave!

I need me some lighthouse fabric and a watermelon hat!

I sell stuff too! SkyWorks ~ It's all about the wistlists, babeee!

I do personal swaps... PM me.

I received from devilninny yesterday, thank you!  Smiley She sent me a lovely mixture of cards- some embossed, some with vintage japanese images, some bought... and she also sent me some envelopes made from magazine pages (which look very cool) and some stickers to seal them with.  And she sent me some Laffy Taffy, which I don't think I have ever seen before so it's quite intriquing!  Cheesy  Thank you, devilninny! I can't post pics due to scanner issues, but I will try to do so soon.

So, what exactly is a skipping bag? is there a tut here somewhere? I really like the style of that bag, and something that is easy to make suits my sewing skills exactly!  Wink

That watermelon hat is the best, I'm going to have to try to make one sometime! Wouldn't it look cute as a baby hat?

Have you hugged your mod today? Smiley

Check out the great herb garden kit that boarderchic sent to me!

Three packets of seeds (already started on the windowsill), the cutest gardening gloves, tags for each of the plants, and --the best part-- three adorable little containers that she hand-painted in wonderful spring colors. (The two bigger ones are, unfortunately, stuck together at the moment. Stupid humid weather.)  Notice how pretty her handwriting is, too.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! what a great treat!

I think this bag is called a skipping bag because the one we are 'copying' has a girl skipping on it - this is the link for the picture:

and here is the link for the tutorial:

It's a very simple bag to make yet looks great once it's finished!

Cotneyroo, I'm glad you like it.  I really wanted to send potting soil or dirt... but I could only find HUGE bags at the store.   Sad
