so many awesome swap packages!!  i was lucky enough to receive some devilninny stationary, too!  she sent some bubbled-looking paper (i think this is the technique where you use dish soap and dye?  it's cool looking!), dick & jane cards, two handmade envelopes, envelope seals, a few store bought cards, and candy buttons.  i've already used some of it, so i need to try and take a picture before it's all gone  Roll Eyes  sadly, the candy buttons have mysteriously disappeared....  Roll Eyes  thanks, devilninny!

I just got pictures of the gorgeous kanzashi hairpins that Leylia sent me!

There are two royal blue flowers with shiny baubles and two teal flowers with bird charms. They're gorgeous, aren't they?

I love those brooches you made, catpants!

I think I forgot to mention that I received a great package from Glitterandgore this week--she sent me crocheted flowers on stems (I can use them to replace my beloved plants that I killed this year...), as well as a crocheted choker, a pair of crocheted flower hair clips (which I wore immediately), and a watermelon hat!  A watermelon hat!  She put that in as an extra because she felt bad for sending late.  I didn't stick anything extra in for her, and I sent late to her....   Embarrassed  Thank you, Glitterandgore! (I made a point not to highlight that in red.  Wink)

I'll post pictures when I get the chance to take them, upload them, etc.  I've been agonizing over a big decision, and yesterday I accepted a job several states away.  So things are a little chaotic!  But I promise I'll make the time very soon to show off the great goodies you sent me.

1) those kanzashi flowers are beautiful! I need to add those to my wishlist.

2) Bigmouth, congratulations on the new job and the big move! I've done that several times in my less-than-30 years, and it was always scary and ALWAYS worth it.

I am just bookmarked how to make those beautiful kanzashi flowers--I can't believe how well they seem to turn out for everyone!!  Lovely to see what can be done with them--pins, on bags, etc.!! Good job Leylia and Catpants!!

Catpants, the button items are so cute!! I love the pouch! The lining fabric is the best!!
And, I love BLUE!!

Kristen81, I love your journals!!  The mod fabric is one of my favorite combo--turquoise/purple!!

...i request more action shots from everyone!!!

I was just thinking that everyone is braver than I am - as much as I love this group, I also love the anonymity and the fact that no one knows what I look like  Grin  Maybe some day I will get brave enough to post a picture (if I ever get something I need to model)
